How to Holiday in Eastbourne

When to Visit

The best time to visit Eastbourne is in the summer months of May – September. The sun is usually shining with the odd spots of rain, and there are plenty of fantastic events for all the family to enjoy!

The sunshine brings out the hustle and bustle of Eastbourne. Enjoy walks along the seafront, outdoor dinners with fantastic views, and play crazy golf before a splashing the kids in the pool at Treasure Island.

What to Do

There are plenty of fun things to do in Eastbourne whilst on your holiday! Check out The Beacon shopping centre followed by lunch at one of Eastbourne’s fantastic independent cafes. Take a towel and head to the beach to catch those rays and take a dip in the sea. Rent a car or hop on the bus and visit some of Eastbourne’s neighbouring towns such as Hastings, Lewes or Brighton which are all filled with wonderful adventures!

During the summer months you’ll find lots of events including the Eastbourne Airshow, the Seafront Market and the 999 Emergency Services Display. Princes Park plays hosts to the exciting Beach Life festival, a celebration of streetfood, watersports and music, in July, and don’t forget to see what’s on at the Devonshire Theatre and the Congress Theatre!
